For the Fire Goddess — the one whose child cannot sit still, and who has stopped trying to make them.
Twelve pairs, twenty-four cards, every one a hand-illustrated yoga pose. It plays like any memory game — face them down, flip two, try to remember where the matching one was — except that when a pair comes up the player has to get up and do the shape. Which means the game keeps stopping so somebody can be a warrior in the middle of the living room. That is the design working exactly as intended.
The box is small and the rules are learned in thirty seconds, so it goes to grandparents’ houses, classrooms, daycare, and the floor of a waiting room. Ages three to ten, though older siblings will play if there is any chance of winning.
