Wheat-free Cream of Wild Rice Soup

At last! A no-wheat version of The Secret Garden's best-selling Cream of Wild Rice Soup. It's still thick and creamy (thickened with corn starch) and still loaded with wild rice and mushrooms — everything that made the original the flagship, minus the wheat flour.

Cook in a pot on the stove or use your crockpot; all you need to add is one-half cup of cream (half and half) just before serving. Important note: The Secret Garden uses wheat flour, eggs, dairy, and tree nuts in their assembly kitchen.
