For the Air Goddess — the one who keeps a whole forest in her head and lets it out on ordinary Tuesdays.
Jennifer Lane paints from a farmette in rural New York, the sort of place where deer step out of the treeline at dusk and stand still long enough to be properly studied. That is the scene printed across this duster: a woodland at the blue hour, antlers and branches grown indistinguishable, the whole composition looking rather like the set of a play you half remember dreaming.
Opera length, open front, nothing to fasten. Wear it over a slip dress when the evening calls for it, or over jeans and a plain white tee when it does not — the effect is the same either way, which is to say the room notices. The sleeves are wide enough to be dramatic and light enough to forget you have on.
