Goddess Tambourine and Ribbon Wall Accent

A four-inch tambourine, decoupaged with an original goddess print and hung with a fall of good ribbon. Decoupage is a patient craft — print, paste, seal, wait, repeat — and it shows in the finish here, where the image sits into the drum head rather than on top of it. The ribbons do the rest of the work, moving whenever a door opens and catching light the way a mobile does. Handmade, so no two are identical.

Good over a doorway, on a gallery wall between framed pieces, or above a dresser where the ribbons can hang free. Pairs naturally with the other tambourines in the series if you want a cluster.
