Cacay oil, frankincense, ginger root, ginkgo, licorice root, ashwagandha, rose and carrot seed — a long list, and every one of them earning its place. Frankincense was carried across deserts for four thousand years on the strength of what it does to skin, and this is a serum that takes that history seriously rather than decoratively.

Warm two or three drops between the palms and press them into face and throat at night. The scent is resinous and faintly sweet and stays with you a while.
