A stainless steel tea ball with a raw rose quartz wired to the chain, so the stone hangs on the outside of the mug and counterweights the whole arrangement. It is a small piece of theater, and it also solves the old problem of the chain sliding down into the tea.

Load it with one to two teaspoons of loose leaf, lock the hinge, and steep as usual. Hand wash and dry it thoroughly — the wire-wrapped stone does not want a dishwasher, and neither does the wrapping.
