Patience Pebbles

Carved wooden pebbles in a soft sea foam finish, and that is the entire toy. No batteries, no instructions, no correct answer. What happens is that a child sits down with them and starts stacking, and then knocking the stack over, and then stacking again with the wide one on the bottom this time. Somewhere in there they are learning cause and effect, color sorting, fine motor control, and the much harder lesson of trying a thing that keeps falling down.
