For the Fire Goddess — the one who orders brown liquor and means it.
Orange, burnt sugar and a bitters spice recipe, balanced into a syrup dark enough to look like it knows something. It exists so you can build a proper Old Fashioned without lining up four bottles and a muddler: pour, add bourbon, stir, done. Drop in a couple of cherries and you have wandered into Manhattan territory.
Each bottle makes twenty-four drinks or more. It is also unexpectedly good in iced tea, in black tea, in seltzer on a hot afternoon, or poured over vanilla ice cream. Glass bottle, metal cap.
