For the Air Goddess — the one who has been called honey by a stranger and did not mind it.

Somebody at Market of Stars unearthed a 1904 poster out of Brooklyn advertising a musical called I Wonder Will You Always Call Me Honey, and was charmed enough to build a dress around it. They layered the lettering over artwork by Theo Hoyteme — bees, sunflowers, the whole golden business — on an antique parchment ground with faded black and honey detail. The result looks like something found in a trunk rather than something manufactured, which is the highest compliment available to a print.

The straps adjust, the cut is generous, and the bamboo viscose moves. Wear it two ways: writing on the front, or writing on the back, depending on the mood of the day. It layers over a tee, under a denim jacket, and packs down to nothing for travel. The viscose is slightly sheer — a full or half-slip underneath is the way to wear it.
