Whiskey reveals its full character between 50–60ºF — at room temperature, alcohol shouts over the subtler notes, and over ice, the nuance drowns and then waters down. These extra-large soapstone cubes solve the riddle with metamorphic-rock physics: a specific heat of .98 J/gK (enough to cool your drink) and a density of 2.956 g/cm³ (so the stone won't absorb your whiskey or carry foreign flavors into it).
