Make A Wish Pixie Duster Cropped Kimono with Wishbone Dandelion

For the Fire Goddess — who still stops for a dandelion gone to seed.

Every symbol on this kimono was borrowed from somebody who believed in luck. A gold wishbone lifted from a Victorian postcard. A coin design from 1840. An evening star. A dandelion painted in 1755, caught in the moment just before it scatters. The banner reading "Make a wish with me, the best is yet to be" comes from an 1880s lithograph, and the lilacs threaded through the whole design are the old symbols for hope and renewal.

Cropped and weightless in blended viscose, it goes over a slip dress, a swimsuit, or jeans and a tank. Light enough for the hottest week of the year and small enough to live permanently in a bag.

100% blended viscose · Length 60 cm · Width 74 cm across · Machine wash gentle or hand wash, hang to dry · Last one!
