Kantha Sunrise Poncho Top

Every one of these is cut from a vintage kantha blanket, which means somebody in India stitched it by hand years before it ever became a poncho. The layers were quilted, worn, washed, and eventually rescued. Where there is a hole, the artisans patch it with cloth from another blanket. The flaws are not defects — they are the reason the piece exists at all.

One size and generous with it, so it falls easily over jeans or leggings and moves when you do. Colors vary from piece to piece, which means the one that arrives is a one nobody else has.
