For the Air Goddess — a garden companion who never digs up the dahlias.
Sixteen inches of pure devotion: a shaggy dog in full bloom, flowers painted along his coat, standing at eternal attention. He began life as a steel oil drum in Haiti before the artisans of Le Primitif flattened him out, chalked his silhouette, and cut him free by hand with mallet and chisel — the craft Georges Liautaud fathered in the late 1950s and generations have carried forward since. Each piece is entirely handmade, so dimensions and finish vary slightly; that is his pedigree.
Station him among the hostas, by the front step, or beside the reading chair of an actual dog who could use the company. Loyal, floral, and impervious to squirrels. One in the shop.
