Handcrafted Upcycled Glass Tumblers, Set of 2

For the Water Goddess — the one who keeps something cold within arm's reach all day long.

Two glasses, cut by hand from bottles that were headed for a tip outside Cairo and were collected instead. Washed, scored with heat, cut across, ground smooth at the lip so the rim is kind to a mouth, then decorated and sandblasted with a frosted band. Green, clear or amber, depending on what the bottle was in its first life. No two come out quite identical, which is rather the point of them.

The 12 oz is the everyday water glass, the one that lives by the sink. The 16 oz is for iced coffee with a great deal of ice in it, or for the gin and tonic that wants room. Both arrive in a box, both hand wash, and both look considerably more expensive than they are.
