Citrine & Jasmine Bath Bomb

Citrine is the stone people reach for when they need to remember they are allowed to take up room. It goes into this bomb whole, tumbled smooth, and it stays there — fizzing under a drift of dried jasmine and organic coconut oil until the water turns soft and the whole room smells like a garden at dusk. When the water drains, the stone is still sitting at the bottom of the tub, warm, and yours to keep.

Run the water hot. Drop it in. Let it go entirely to pieces while you do nothing at all. Afterward dry the citrine off and put it somewhere you will see it on the mornings that ask a lot of you — a coat pocket, a car console, the shelf above the desk.
