Upcycled Sweater Flapper Cap

For the Earth Goddess — a 1920s shape, rebuilt from a sweater that had already lived one life.

Six panels, a short bill, a stretch band across the back: the flapper cap, handmade here from recycled sweater knit. Black with a gray band, or light gray with a black band. Every one is cut from the same pattern and no two come out quite alike, because the sweaters they began as were not alike either.

Wear it low, over unbrushed hair, with the wool coat and the boots you have had for years. It is the kind of hat people ask about at the counter.
