Four stones and no compromise. Matte shungite goes on flat and lightless, the way charcoal does. Clear quartz answers it with glass. Black tourmalinated quartz sits in between, shot through with fine black needles that look like ink dropped into water and frozen there. Tiger eye finishes it in bands of gold that slide as your wrist turns. Between them, dark gold-plated hematite rondelles, faceted small enough to catch light without announcing themselves.

It reads as one dark bracelet from across a room and as four distinct minerals up close, which is precisely the point. Wear it with a rolled sleeve, a leather cuff watch, anything with some architecture to it. The gold rondelles pick up brass and warm metals if you are stacking.
