Shungite comes from exactly one place on earth: the Karelia region of northwestern Russia, near a village called Shun'ga. It is a carbon mineral old enough to predate most living things, and apart from a handful of meteorites it is the only natural source of fullerenes anyone has turned up. We pair it here with a single hematite bead at the center — dense, mirror-dark, surprisingly heavy for its size. The whole bracelet reads matte black until the light finds that one bead.

Made for the hands that do the hard jobs, and for anyone who simply likes a bracelet that looks like it means it. Wear it alone against a rolled cuff, or stack it with the rest of your black — the matte finish keeps it from competing. It slides on and off; no clasp to fuss with at the end of a long shift.
