This began as a custom order. A friend wanted black stones and one gold one, and what came back was three matte darks — shungite, black onyx, pyrite — with the pyrite throwing its brassy metallic glint out of all that shadow like a struck match. He suggested the name as a joke about his surname. It stuck, because it fit.
Unisex, satisfyingly heavy in the hand, unapologetically bold. Wear it with a watch, with rolled shirtsleeves, with black on black. It is the one you put on for the morning you intend to win.
