The After-Party Bracelet

For the Fire Goddess — for the part of the evening that happens after the part everybody photographed.

Matte white jade, matte amethyst and matte crackle quartz — the heated stone that fractures internally into a web of fine lines and catches light in every one of them. The center is a polished, faceted amethyst rectangle, cut flat where everything else is round, and silver-plated hematite faceted rondelles run between.

Purple and white and rather more glittering than it looks in a photograph, which is the entire point of a bracelet named this. Stretch fit, no clasp. Strung by hand in small batches, so stones and spacing vary.
