Seventy percent cellulose, thirty percent cotton, printed with a morning glory in full climb by a US-based artist. It holds fifteen times its own weight in liquid, which means a knocked-over glass of water vanishes in a single sweep instead of four sheets and a sigh. One cloth stands in for roughly fifteen rolls of paper towels and ten sponges before it is spent — and then it goes in the compost.

Tough on grime, gentle on a glazed bowl or a glass cooktop; it leaves nothing scratched behind it. Wash it in the machine or the top rack of the dishwasher, and sanitize it by boiling it or running it damp through the microwave. Arrives unpackaged, instructions printed on the back.
