Solar System Flashcards, Set of 15 Cards

For the Fire Goddess — the one raising a small person who wants to know what is out past the moon.

Fifteen cards, each one a planet or celestial body painted in gouache, with a few plain facts printed alongside so the wondering has somewhere to land. Turn any card over and the whole solar system is there in full color, so the small one can see where the thing in their hand actually sits. The paintings are good enough that adults pick them up too, which is rather the point.

Prop a few along a shelf and rotate them. Tape the current favorite above the bed. Work through the stack at the kitchen table on a rainy afternoon, or hand them over in a stocking, a birthday bag, a first-day-of-homeschool basket. The card stock is heavy enough to survive being loved hard.
