Matte white jade the whole way around, no shine at all, chalky and cool as a river stone left in the shade, with one rectangular tube of howlite laid across the center like a small white brick. Marbled with faint gray veining, no two alike.
It is the bracelet you forget you are wearing, which is the highest compliment a bracelet can be paid. Goes with everything, survives everything, and costs less than dinner.
