For the Fire Goddess — the one whose loyalty is a form of devotion, and who does not hand it out lightly.
The print is a collage of things that survived: swallows hand-painted into an 1865 scrapbook, floral wreaths drawn in the 1600s, and a sacred heart embroidered in gilded thread at Notre Dame in France, finished in 1872. The two swallows carry a ribbon between them — they are the old symbol of loyalty, and the ribbon is the point: distance changes nothing. Below them a vintage banner states the terms plainly, friendship, love, and truth.
Opera length with a removable belt, so it can be a coat one day and a robe the next. Over black it reads dramatic; over jeans it reads like you have somewhere better to be. The viscose moves the way silk wishes it did.
