Child's Bright Pink and Purple Flapper Hat

For the Fire Goddess in miniature — bright pink, and not the least bit sorry.

The same 1920s flapper silhouette, six panels and a small bill, built here in bright pink and purple from recycled suit cloth. Every hat is cut from one pattern, but because the fabric had a life before this one, no two ever come out quite the same.

It goes on over unbrushed hair and stays on through the whole day. Soft inside, stretchy at the band, and cheerful enough to find in the bottom of a diaper bag.
