For the Water Goddess — who never finishes the bottle in one sitting, and never apologizes for opening it either.
A cork, once pulled, never goes back the way it came. This is a proper stopper with a stone set on top of it: an amethyst seer stone, a bronze titanium geode, or a clear quartz point, each cut and polished in Brazil and each a little different from the photograph, because no two came out of the ground alike.
It seals a wine bottle, an oil cruet, or a bottle of something homemade you have been meaning to give away. Left on the counter between pours, it looks like an object someone chose rather than a thing that came free with the wine.
