For the Fire Goddess — seven colors in a row, and a bead of cooled lava to finish the sentence.
Strung the traditional way: one stone for each of the seven colors, running in order from red at the clasp end through to violet. Red tiger eye, peach moonstone, yellow crazy lace agate, green jade, amazonite, lapis lazuli, amethyst. Clear quartz sits between them like a held breath, and a single bead of lava stone closes the round — porous, matte, black as a river rock left in the fire.
Choose the 8 mm for a fine line of color that layers easily with a watch or a stack of thin bands, or the 10 mm for the fuller, more deliberate version that reads across a room. The lava bead is unglazed and will drink a drop of oil, which is the traditional reason it is there.
