I Dream in Flowers Bamboo Scarf with Bees

For the Air Goddess — who has never once left the house without something tied somewhere.

The flowers come from an oil painting made in the early 1600s by Jan Brueghel, back when a single tulip bulb could cost more than a house and painters were hired to record a bouquet before it dropped. The bees come from the plates of a Victorian insect encyclopedia. Together they make something that looks less like a print than like a page torn out of a very good book.

Wrap it once around the neck and let the ends hang, tuck it into the collar of a jacket, or tie it in your hair. The viscose is lighter than a kimono weight — it moves in a doorway draft.
