Built from an 1880s archival print, with the wood-grain lettering adapted into the trim. Nearly every image on it is an old symbol of exactly what the name says: the beehive for cooperation, the bundle of sticks for solidarity, the clasped hands for trust and fellowship, the heart-in-hand for charity. Somebody in the 1880s meant all of this sincerely, and it still reads that way.

Cropped short, so it sits at the natural waist over a high-waisted jean or a long dress. Bamboo viscose, which is to say it drapes rather than holds a shape. Beautiful, a little romantic, and with just enough rock and roll in the palette to keep it from going sweet.
