Dreamweaver Bohemian Bamboo Scarf with Zodiac Signs

For the Fire Goddess — who knows her rising sign, and everyone else's.

The print is Alphonse Mucha's 1896 Zodiac lithograph: a majestic woman in elaborate celestial jewelry, ringed by all twelve signs, with a star added to her crown. The trim carries the signs again across a deep burgundy ground. Mucha was designing a calendar when he drew her; more than a century later she is still the most opulent thing in the room. There is a distinct whiff of 1970s luxe bohemia about the whole affair, which is entirely the point.

Loose at the throat over a black turtleneck, knotted through the handle of a bag, or worn as a head wrap with the big earrings. Handwash and hang to dry.
