Bamboo, in black, with a banded waist and a thirty-two inch inseam that reads long and lean rather than cropped and apologetic. The fabric is breezy and wrinkle resistant, which is the whole argument for bamboo in a travel wardrobe. One honest note: the weave is a little sheer, so we would wear these with a top that covers the hip.

They pair effortlessly with the flowy bamboo cardigans and tunics in the same collection — that was rather the point of building it.
