Hematite is iron, and it behaves like iron: unreasonably heavy for its size, polished to a mirror so dark it goes silver at the edges. Ten millimeters of it all the way around gives this one real weight on the wrist, the kind you notice and then stop noticing. The single matte carnelian at the center is the only warm thing in it — a burnt orange, flat-finished, the color of a clay pot left in the sun.

Two stones, one accent, nothing else. It is the simplest bracelet in the line and the one most likely to be worn every day. Good against white, terracotta, denim and every shade of brown.
