For the Fire Goddess — peace, in her evening wear.
The blue floral peace sign's midnight twin: the same foot-wide symbol, this time on deep onyx, with hand-painted blossoms burning bright against the dark. Cut from a recycled steel oil drum by Haitian artisans in the tradition Georges Liautaud founded in the late 1950s — chalk on flattened steel, then mallet and chisel, no shortcuts — it carries the protest spirit of the sixties with the polish of a black velvet blazer. Handmade, so dimensions and finish vary slightly.
Hang it where you make your boldest decisions. Peace doesn't have to whisper; sometimes it wears black. One in the shop.
