A rich simple syrup, two parts sugar to one part water, infused with FDA-approved edible glitter. No high fructose corn syrup, and nothing in it that belongs in a craft cupboard rather than a glass. The syrup is thick enough to hold the sparkle in suspension for hours and sometimes days, so the drink keeps turning long after it is poured.

An ounce is enough for a cocktail, a mocktail, iced tea, hot tea or coffee — because it is a rich syrup, a little goes a long way. Keep the bottle out on the bar cart or beside the coffee maker where people can watch it move.
