Description: A friend of ours was trying to share a saying that her husband often says, "Be a River, not a Dam", but she got it backwards and said, "Be a Dam, not a River." Not only was it a funny moment, but it has now become one our favorite sayings. Hours could be spent philosophically contemplating the meaning and difference between those two sentences. But at the end of the day, one thing is clear - change is inevitable and choosing to be a river or a dam in any particular moment can often determine how well we ride the waves of life.
The Go with the Flow Bracelet is designed for just that purpose - to assist in going with the flow of this fast-moving thing called life. When change is happening in our lives, it is easy to feel out of balance and ungrounded, and this trio of stones assists us in coming back to center so that we can see all of the possibilities and options to a situation and have the courage, energy and inspiration to embrace the change.
Riverstone is simply that - a stone from rivers, streams. and other moving bodies of water. It is known as the "bones of Mother Earth", and it embodies the properties of the element of water that creates it-fluidity, vitality, and movement. It is a high energy stone that invigorates and energizes the aura, encouraging the user to "go with the flow" of life and embrace positive change. Riverstone works with the Root Chakra. We have fallen in love with African Opal Jasper. It is somewhat of a mystery, and many debate whether to call it Opal or Jasper. However, we believe it is best characterized as part of the Jasper "Supreme Nurturer" family of stones. It provides calm, soothing, and purifying energies that cultivate creativity, insight and inspiration. It helps to see all sides to a situation and possibilities. It is there in times of stress by bringing tranquility and wholeness while encouraging internal honesty and courage to tackle life's challenges.
