For the Water Goddess — navy and gray, and one bead the color of a good desk lamp.
Matte sodalite — deep blue veined in white, the most schoolroom-serious stone in the case — alternating with matte silver crazy lace agate in pale gray lacing. A polished citrine nugget sits at the center in honey yellow, and silver hematite squares spacer the round, flat-sided against all those spheres.
The one that goes to teachers, and to anybody who has decided to be a student of something at fifty. Stretch fit, no clasp. Strung by hand in small batches; the agate is dyed and the lacing varies bead to bead.
