Tiger Eye is a really awesome and powerful brown stone that contains chatoyancy that makes it look like a tiger’s eye.  We here at Wysdohm think of Tiger Eye as our “Warrior Stone” when we need to gear up, put on our game face, and tackle a project or challenge.  Many ancient warriors wore Tiger Eye for protection in battle.  Tiger Eye is very grounding and protective, bringing the user’s head out of the clouds to focus on the task at hand.  It also promotes courage, provides clarity, and encourages good judgment.  It is the stone to take us from point A to Z, providing direction and guidance along the way.  It is said to assist in finding courage, self-confidence and strength of will.  It is an excellent stone for a child who needs assistance to stand up for himself or herself and to ask for guidance when needed.  It is also a great stone for athletes. 

Howlite is a beautiful white stone with gray veining that is known as a “tranquility stone”, bringing calm and soothing energy to the user to assist with emotional balance and communication.  It is ideal for a child who is emotionally or sensory sensitive, especially those who often express extreme negative emotions.  It encourages ambition and patience and helps eliminate procrastination.  Howlite is also known to help alleviate sleeping problems.  It is an excellent stone for focus for students, and it even encourages the development of positive character.
