Capiz shells are the outer shells of the windowpane oyster, named for the town of Capiz on the Philippine island of Panay, where they were first harvested from shallow coastal waters. Once cleaned, each shell is naturally translucent — and when painted, it becomes a glorious interplay of light and color. Designed by Om Gallery and exquisitely crafted by their artisan partners in the Philippines.

Hang it where a breeze can find it: a porch corner, a bedroom window, the reading nook that needed one more reason to linger. The sound is soft sea-glass percussion, never clatter.
